On Monday, November 17, 2025 the Randolph County Agricultural Center officially opened it’s doors to the public with a ribbon cutting ceremony. It houses three departments, N.C. Cooperative Extension, Randolph County Center, Randolph County Soil & Water Conservation District, and the staff that handles the daily operations of the Randolph County Agricultural Center.

A note from Extension staff:

A group of eleven staff members in matching gray shirts stand outside the "Allen Ray McNeill Education & Resource Center" building, holding a wide green ribbon during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.“Yesterday’s ribbon cutting felt like one of those moments we will remember for a long time. Surrounded by our dedicated staff, long-time supporters, county leaders, and partners from NC State, we celebrated more than a building—we celebrated years of hard work, shared vision, and unwavering belief in the future of Randolph County agriculture.

To every person who pushed, planned, encouraged, and kept this dream alive… thank you. This center exists because a community decided to invest in its people, its farms, and its future.

We don’t take this blessing lightly. As we step into this next chapter, we are committed to being good stewards of the opportunities we’ve been given while working every day to ensure agriculture stays strong, innovative, and firmly rooted as the number one industry in our county and across our great state.
Here’s to honoring the past, serving the present, and building a thriving future together.”
