The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Randolph County Center offers many in-person classes that you can attend to learn more about gardening topics. Check back here often for updated class information! These classes are held at local public libraries and our Cooperative Extension Center.

Landscaping Classes: These classes will offer participants the opportunity to learn about landscape design and is perfect for the homeowner or small business owner that wants to landscape their own yard or site. 

Houseplant Classes: These classes will teach participants about the basics of growing houseplants! We will discuss what plants grow well indoors, how to care for them, and more!

Pruning Workshop at Millstone Creek Orchards: If you have fruiting plants and want to learn how to prune them OR want to purchase plants at some point and need to learn these practices this intensive day of pruning. We will learn pruning concepts and see live demonstrations from Cooperative Extension Agents and Specialists putting what we learn to work.

Mushroom Madness: These classes will teach participants how to inoculate logs with mushroom spawn and grow their own mushrooms. Participants will get to take home a mushroom log that they inoculate with spawn to see if they can get s flush of mushrooms off it.
