Welcome! Please read each county’s rules very carefully. If you are not wanting to join the circuit but would like to show in individual county shows there will be a separate registration sheet/process for that county. Please visit the link to those counties in which you wish to participate. We do understand that COVID-19 is still with us, please check in periodically with your 4-H agent or the 4-H agent in a show you plan on attending for the latest protocols for face coverings or other COVID-19 related restrictions.
The annual 2022 4-H Farm Credit Showmanship Circuit is just around the corner. Once again, we are pleased to have Cape Fear Farm Credit and Carolina Farm Credit continue as our cosponsors.
This year the circuit Extension sanctioned shows are taking place in the following counties (but showman participation is open to all counties): Anson, Cumberland, Guilford, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Randolph, Richmond, Robeson, Stanly, and Union counties. Participation is open to any active 4-H’er anywhere (A $100 County fee applies to each county hosting a show, it will be a donation request for other counties with showmen only. It can be paid by a club, 4-H account, sponsor, etc.)
You may post pictures and get updates from the 4-H Farm Credit Showmanship Circuit Facebook page.
New this year is that families will need to register for the circuit and in that registration process indicate which shows they intend to attend, but you will not list out specific animals at this time. You will then need to refer to each of your chosen county's rules and register for their shows separately by their individual deadlines (typically 14 days prior to their show date). Circuit registration will open on June 27 at 5:00 pm online. Please register by July 15, 2022, at 5:00 pm on Eventbrite for the Circuit. This deadline is absolute and we cannot take your registration once the website shuts down. Please plan ahead!! It is $25 per showmen per species.
