February 10, 2023 – Lee Regional Tobacco Meeting

9 a.m.  – 11 a.m. at the Lee County Cooperative Extension Office  – 2420 Tramway Rd, Sanford, NC 27332  – 2 hour of N,O,D, and X credits. Lunch after! Hear a tobacco research update from Dr. Matthew Vann and learn about broadleaf tobacco growing opportunities from Lancaster Leaf Co. 

GAP certification will not be offered at this training.


February 13, 2023 – Landscape Pesticide Course

5 – 6 p.m. in the Wolfpack Room. Dinner provided!

1 hour of D, H, L, N, X pesticide credits.


February 28, 2023 – Winter Soybean Producers Meeting

10 a.m. – noon in the Wolfpack Room. Lunch provided afterwards. Hear a soybean research update from Dr. Rachel Vann and a weed control lesson from Dr. Wes Everman.

2 hours of N,O,D, and X credits

CCA Credits Available (2 hours of Crop Management)


February 28, 2023 – Auxin Training

June 10, 2023 – Aquatic Weed ID Day at Liberty Farm and Garden

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. bring your aquatic weeds to be identified and get recommended control methods as well.
