March is Living Well month and we are spending each week focusing on a different aspect of living well, what it means, and what it looks like. This week is all about living well by spending time on your physical wellness. If we don't take care of our physical wellness, we won't be able to show up 100% for the things we need to do in life.
What is physical wellness?
Physical wellness is how your daily routines and habits impact your life in regards to stress and health.A physically well person eats a balanced diet of nutrient dense foods, gets an sufficient amount of sleep, gets regular physical activity, and engages in lifestyle habits that help prevent chronic disease.
How can we improve our physical wellness?
Think about these things:
- Do you eat a healthy diet full of nutrient dense foods?
- Are you physically active each day?
- Do you get enough sleep each night?
- Are you living a lifestyle that helps you prevent chronic disease?
If you answered yes to any of these, then you are on the right track. This week we have a physical wellness challenge to help you get into the swing of things. There is also a pdf resource linked below that you can use to help you improve your physical wellness.
