Rental Process
1) Review the list of available equipment and the respective contracts.
2) Review the availability of the equipment on the public calendar.
3) Fill out our Google form to formally begin the process.
4) An agent will then contact you to complete the reservation process.
5) Pick up reserved equipment at agreed upon date and time and perform a pre-rental inspection.
6) After use, return the equipment in the manner in which you received it to an agent for a post-rental inspection.
Users who have failed to cancel a reservation or failed to pick up the unit when reserved without communicating with the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Randolph County center, in the past 12 months, will be required to submit a $25 deposit to hold future reservations.
Randolph County has the following general agricultural equipment available for rent:
Grassworks weedwipe
(Renter will provide any equipment/tools needed to secure, fasten, haul, or tow equipment. The weed wipe is to be towed with a 2" ball.)
Rental rates set forth below are payable when the equipment is returned. The Renter had the option of paying up front in full or half up front and the remaining half upon return.

$50 / Week out-of-county use
Scheduling will be completed by N.C. Cooperative Extension, Randolph County center, with the pick-up & return of the equipment Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Return the Portable Platform Scales & any associated equipment to Randolph County center in the same condition as received by 9:00 am on the date due.
Herd GT-77 Spreader (Fire Ant Bait Spreader)
Rental rates set forth below are payable when equipment is returned. The Renter had the option of paying up front in full or half up front and the remaining half at return.

$10/day in county use
$12/day out-of-county use
$30 for Friday-Monday in-county
$36 for Friday-Monday out-of-county
Scheduling will be completed by the Randolph County center with the pick-up & return of the equipment Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Return the Portable Platform Scales & any associated equipment to N.C. Cooperative Extension, Randolph County center in the same condition as received by 9:00 am on the date due.
Roller Crimper
Renter will need to provide transportation (trailer and capable truck for towing) and ensure their tractor is capable of using the equipment.
[Roller Crimper Manufacturer] recommends a tractor with at least a [minimum HP rating Req.] Rating for use of [model of roller crimper] and a 3-point hitch.
Rental rates set forth below are payable when equipment is returned. The Renter had the option of paying up front in full or half up front and the remaining remainder (if any) upon return.
