Randolph County 2020 Forestry Report

Randolph County has a thriving forestry industry that contributes over $1.5 billion to the local economy in 2020. Over half of the county is privately owned timberland, which totals up to right at 400 square miles, or 260,000 acres! Our economic contributions from the forest sector is 3rd largest in the state and it supports around 8,000 jobs. The largest share of the forest industry in the county is from secondary solid wood industries like furniture, kitchen, cabinets and woodworks.
