Master Computer Basics & Receive a FREE Chromebook!

Ready to build your digital skills and get a free laptop? Join the Randolph County Cooperative Extension for a comprehensive, six-hour "Computer Basics & Chromebooks" program hosted at the Randolph County Agriculture Center.

This course is designed to take the intimidation out of technology. Over six sessions, you will gain hands-on experience and master essential digital skills, including:

  • Computer Basics: Learn how to comfortably navigate your device and system management.
  • Web & Browser Control: Discover how to efficiently browse the internet, manage tabs, and safely use the web.
  • Tech Troubleshooting: Master basic fixes for your Chromebook to keep it running smoothly.

The best part? Anyone who successfully completes the full six-hour program will receive a brand-new free Chromebook to keep! (Please note: Attendance at BOTH parts of the course, on both 7/11 and 7/18, is strictly required to qualify for your free laptop).

Session One: Saturday July 11, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM

Session Two: Saturday July 18, 9:00-12:00

Due to the high demand for this course, no make-ups or missed sessions are possible. By registering for this course, you are committing to attend both sessions of this class for the full 6 hours of the program.

Space is highly limited for this program. Don't miss out on your chance to upgrade your skills and claim your free computer.

Presented in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Information Technology (NCDIT).
