Extension is ready with answers on controlling household insects, protecting well-water, managing a family budget, helping families improve their eating habits, or dealing with the special concerns related to early childhood, parenting, or aging. Family Resource Management Educational classes provide information to help families acquire knowledge and skills to become proficient in record keeping & organization, value clarification, goals & communication, budgeting, cash management, credit & debt management and homebuyer education classes. Other programs include the following:PowerPay Computer Program A computer program that provides a debt reduction plan that shows you the fastest way to pay off debt by showing you how to pay each month until all debts are paid in full and much more. This program enrolls savers. It also encourages and assists individuals to save money and build wealth. Once enrolled, services are provided including the quarterly American Saver free newsletter, financial literacy educational workshops and no- or low balance savings accounts at local participating banks. High School Financial Planning This six-unit program provides teens with a greater understanding of and the ability to manage their personal finances in the areas of goal setting, budgeting, and saving.
